Treat facial brown spots and facial blotching with ASPIRE’s Skin Lightening Gel: Prescription Bleaching Cream (Hydroquinone 8%, Retinoic Acid 0.05%, Hydrocortisone 1%). Our dark spot correcting cream fades dark spots while brightening the complexion.
How does it work? Hydroquinone causes brown spots to gradually fade by limiting skin from creating an excess amount of melanin. Melanin is what gives skin its color. Too much melanin clustered together leads to the development of brown spots. Hydroquinone breaks down melanosomes in pigment cells and zaps away dark spots.
How long to see results? On average, it takes 4-12 weeks for hydroquinone to take full effect.
Why use Prescription Products? Over-the-counter hydroquinone products can contain up to 2% concentrations, with 2% being the most effective OTC amount. For less stubborn spots, OTC products may offer some benefit.
ASPIRE’s Prescription Hydroquinone 8% is customized so it already has a Retinoic Acid in it. This combination actually helps the Hydroquinone to penetrate deeper into the skin. Most beauty professionals recommend the of retinoids by women over 35 at least once a week. Prescription strength Retin-A increases cellular turnover, improves skin tone and pore size, and increases collagen production. It is highly effective for treating wrinkles, acne, and sun damaged skin too.
Sun protection (and sun avoidance) is a key part of any skincare routine, but this is especially important if you’re going to use skin-lightening products like ASPIRE’s Skin Bleaching Cream. You simply won’t get the results you want without being obsessive about applying an SPF 30 or greater sunscreen 365 days a year: rain or shine!
