Keep in mind....a butterfly does not just magically pop out of caterpillars.
I have always been mesmerized by the four stages to a butterflys life: egg, caterpillar, pupa, and butterfly. In order for the change from a caterpillar to a butterly to take place inside the pupa, the caterpillar first releases certain enzymes to dissolve its own tissues and digest itself.
Once inside the chyrsalis, the change inside is slow and gradual. Special cells called imaginal discs survive the self digestive process.
These special discs are inside of the caterpillar all along; they stop growing at a certain point and start growing again once the time is right. These discs use the nutrients from the digested part of the caterpillar as they form into different parts of the butterfly's body, with different discs forming into different tissues.....forming the wings, antennae, legs, eyes, and all of the other features of an adult butterly. ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️
➡️➡️➡️If you are going to emerge as a transformed butterly in your own life, keep in mind that it takes work to build the pupa, it takes time to enter it, and it takes time to emerge and fly. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
Take your time, setting your goals and understanding the unique stages of your season. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
Practice, and seek new learning and teaching opportunities to share what you have with others in small doses. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
But don't overstay your welcome in your pupa. No one is meant to stay in the cocoon of transformation forever.〰️〰️〰️
